Gerald Howarth

Welcome to my website!

It has been my privilege to represent the electors of Aldershot since 1997 and I want to express my gratitude to everyone who supported me in May last year.  The turn out was fantastic, with almost 64% of the electorate taking the opportunity to cast their vote for the candidate of their choice.

As your re-elected Member of Parliament, I represent everyone in Aldershot - not just those who voted for me.  Even though I now have the added responsibility of the office of Minister for International Security Strategy within the Ministry of Defence, I will never forget that my first duty is to those who elected me.  I am, first and foremost, your MP and will always be here to assist you with any problems and stand up for your views and concerns.

I have campaigned successfully in support of local issues, such as the Aldershot Centre for Health, the installation of speed warning signs on the A325 in Farnborough, or action to protect householders from flooding.

I hope you find the information here helpful and easy to use. My aim is to continue to add content so if you have suggestions for items you would find useful please do let me know.

Thank you once again for placing your trust in me.
